I’m packing my belongings
but you can keep what you gave me
all your gifts suddenly turned bitter
and now I know that you hate me
I’ve been feeling ready lately
but was scared to let go
in vain I stayed steadily waiting
for some peace of mind to show
you say “please stay”
and I yell “NO!”
I’ve found real love somewhere else
this new love has blossomed and grown
what you offered me was hell
so goodbye and farewell
I’m leaving for so many reasons
who swept me off my feet you ask?
the one I’m leaving you for is Jesus!
Your plan has been aborted
your lies have been exposed
Satan your enemy is my savior
so you best stay on your toes!
