its full of deception and pain
thug life aint enticing
lil kids killin each other off for some fame
gettin high never stays a hobby
"once in awhile" becomes always
drugs can take a mother from her family and have her stumbling down hallways
weapons are used to victimize
not to protect
life is not cherished
but taken over disrespect
on the corner food stamps are being traded
children eating scraps so mom and sancho can stay faded
young people reppin something they dont even own
talking of loyalty to a set or a block
but their real loyalty is in money, destruction and slangin their own people rocks
